History

Darion was born into a military family, so he moved to various places around the world growing up. He discovered his interest in music at the age of eleven when his school had a mandatory music class, and he hasn’t looked back since. Though he’s dabbled in several instruments, his main one is piano/keyboards. At first he trained classically, and over time as he was exposed to different genres he expanded his stylistic horizons.

Years after writing his first full-length song in middle school, Darion attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for a degree in Professional Music. The degree focused on songwriting and performance, further driving his passion for musical creation. After graduating from Berklee, Darion went on to perform, write, and teach music. Today, he has several albums written between his band Garnet and his solo projects, as well as a growing list of cues written with video games in mind.
